Symbol Requests

The Symbol Library that we built for Mrs. Riley is big and broad, but there are certainly holes in it since we're just getting started. PLEASE, feel free to suggest additional symbols in this thread.

And remember, a symbol card's text CAN be changed. Double clicking on any card will bring up the Card Editor, where you can change the text and whether it is above, below, or hidden.

January 2012 Public Beta

Hello everyone, thanks for visiting the public beta forum. I've made the newest version of PageBuilder available for the entire community to start using.

If you see any bugs please report them here. Everyone that finds a bug and writes a post about it here will be entered into a drawing for a free year subscription.

New features of the beta are:

* View your entire file library inside of PageBuilder and pull cards from any file directly into your current working page.

* View your entire image library on the left hand panel

* Upload multiple images at once!

* Search your personal library of cards at the same time as you search the public pool

* Change files from public to private and back with a flip of a switch

* Share links to Pagebuilder files by copying the link out of the browser address bar (be mindful that during the Beta, the URL will link to the beta version of the app... so these links will change after we release)

* Improved printing on Mac

* Hopefully less buggy login (although this has been a tricky area so please report any bugs regarding getting logged out unexpectedly)

That's about it. I hope to release this version very soon.

Nov 2011 PageBuilder Beta

Here everyone,

Thanks for expressing interest in the new Mrs. Riley beta test program! I'm really excited to get your eyes on the new version of PageBuilder.

Next time you log into MrsRiley.com, you'll see a new button on the home page to launch the PageBuilder beta.

The main areas that have been updated are the My Library panel on the left, image uploading, and login. If you could just use the beta as you would normally and send feedback for what you like, what is confusing, and most importantly, what breaks, that would be great!

If you have any questions please post here or use the "feedback" button in PageBuilder. I'll keep updating this thread with info so we can all see it.

public card topic searches

If someone names their file "Bob", even though the card is about "sports", would the "bob" file come up under a "sports" search?

It seems like there are a lot of hidden cards because of how cards are titled and saved.  Can the choice of card title/save title affect a search?  If yes, I think this can limit the usefulness of sharing as one would not be able to see the full choice of boards by not entering correct key words.
