The Symbol Library that we built for Mrs. Riley is big and broad, but there are certainly holes in it since we're just getting started. PLEASE, feel free to suggest additional symbols in this thread.
And remember, a symbol card's text CAN be changed. Double clicking on any card will bring up the Card Editor, where you can change the text and whether it is above, below, or hidden.
Would be nice to have "opposites" cards like big/small, empty/full, ugly/beautiful, clean/dirty, etc. I have been searching through the internet and could never find a really good one for my 3 years old. :-(

About Mrs. Riley
Mrs. Riley was created so professionals, teachers, and parents could collaboratively make educational materials, starting with picture cards. If you've ever made a picture card with a custom image yourself, you know that it can be tedious. We understand and after going through it ourselves for so long, we decided to wrap the entire process into a single online application.

Suggestions for smaller special needs kiddos. Some of these might be kind of hard to make into a picture card but boy would they be helpful!!
1. Pick me up (child with arms up to an adult)
2. Look at me (pointing to eyes??)
3. Don't throw yourself down/tantrum.....no clue how to do this one.
